Yes...I am smarter than Richard Dawkins, which is no surprise considering that he thinks it's possible that aliens planted life on Earth. Sheesh....

I really can't believe the reported results. It seems like you would pick most of that stuff up in the course of an ordinary life.
OK, I did miss the question about who led the "Great Awakening". But there was a good reason for that. Not going to give it away but the creepy politician fooled me.

Today is the 6th day of the Fall 40 Days for Life campaign, and it is THE day we have been waiting for in Severna Park for over a decade!

We have CONFIRMED that Gynecare is CLOSED, and will NOT REOPEN it's doors!!! The office suite that Gynecare has operated in for years is already listed for rent, and we have confirmed with the listing agent that "the current tenant" will be completely out of the office "SOON".

It is Official - NO MORE ABORTIONS IN SEVERNA PARK!!!

Please read the Scripture at the top of this email...it is THE scripture that we have been praying at the Vigil site and at my church for weeks. God has answered our prayers...because we BELIEVED that He WOULD.

Some examples of God fulfilling this promise to 40 Days for Life, and answering our BOLD and SPECIFIC prayers:

1. PRAYER - We have been praying in front of the Gynecare facility on Sunday afternoons (when it's empty) for several weeks now. One Sunday, God moved us to get up and go down to Ferrer's house to pray for him, for his conversion, and for him to STOP doing abortions. The prayer was specific, and on purpose according to His Word - Dear Lord, please end abortions at Gynecare on Tuesday, Sept 7th.

ANSWER - We found out late Wednesday night, Sept 8th that Ferrer's medical license had been suspended!

2. PRAYER - We prayed Wednesday morning, September 22nd for Wartanian to STOP performing abortions, that very day.

ANSWER - He did agree to STOP - THAT VERY DAY, and we confirmed on Thursday that Wartanian did indeed call Gynecare on Wednesday to tell them he would not be coming to the facility again!

3. PRAYER - We prayed Wednesday night, 9/22, that Gynecare would CLOSE ITS DOORS on Thursday, 9/23.

ANSWER - We confirmed 3 seperate times on Thursday, 9/23, that Gynecare was CLOSED and NOT accepting appointments or doing abortions!

4. PRAYER - We prayed Friday night, and then again just THIS MORNING, 9/27, that God would show us TODAY, Monday 9/27, that Gynecare was closed FOR GOOD.

ANSWER - We confirmed, TODAY, that Gynecare is CLOSED -
FOR GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God has heard our prayers and has moved...but we STILL aren't done yet. We need to continue to SING TO and PRAISE God for the answers and Grace that He has shown these past few months. Countless lives have been saved and will be saved because of the closing of Gynecare in Severna Park!

The Vigil is still in progress, on the corner of Ritchie Highway and Jones Station Rd, in Severna Park. Please go to the Vigil Calendar right away to get registered and start signing up for timeslots. We will have further information about what our plans will be for the remainder of this 40 Days for Life campaign no later than Wednesday, 9/29.

So PLEASE go to the Vigil Calendar RIGHT NOW, and fill in your name next to the yellow and red spots tomorrow. We NEED to have coverage all 12 hours...7 days a week. God has moved and is moving in mighty ways - let's make sure He hears our PRAYERS and our PRAISE, from wherever we are!!

We STILL do not have any further information about Ferrer's Hearing, but we will keep trying to get more information. Feel free to call the MD Board of Physicians yourself and ask for a status - 410-764-4777 or 1-800-492-6836. Please also continue to pray that they will decide to permanently revoke Ferrer's Medical License so there is no question about his future in medicine!

The End of Abortion in Severna Park is HERE!!!! Pray that it stays that way!

They Didn't Listen....Will We?

This is what God told Israel before they crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan.
He wanted them to stay true to Him and be His holy nation. They started out OK, but they didn't follow the command to teach God's law to their children, and so, generation after generation had to learn the hard way. Are we teaching our children? Are we worshiping other gods?

Deuteronomy 11:

¹⁶ Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them. ¹⁷ Then the LORD's anger will burn against you, and he will shut the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you. ¹⁸ Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. ¹⁹ Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. ²⁰ Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, ²¹ so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Happy Birthday Lilly!

Today we celebrated sweet Lilly!
Nina and Johnny put on a fabulous birthday party, and everyone had a great time!

They invited a whole bunch of friends, and Lilly was a perfect little hostess. She was a bit wound up before the party, but once everyone got there, she settled right in and was right at home in the place of honor.

She has some really cute little friends and their moms and dads are all very nice.

She got some very nice presents and was so polite, saying "Thank You" to everyone.
I was so proud of her.

She helped us all sing "Happy Birthday", so that we wouldn't forget the words. Then she was the first person the check out the cake, and make sure that it was OK for the rest of us. So gracious!

The pinata was a hit...A blind-folded Lilly with a long stick is a force to be reckoned with...

And I think a good time was had by all.

40 Days For Life-Day 4

This, from the 40 Day for Life Blog:

Today, of course, is Saturday — the busiest day for abortions at many of the facilities where 40 Days for Life vigils are being conducted. If that’s the case in your city, and you have an opportunity to join the prayer vigil, please do so.

Your prayers are needed — urgently!

We’re all human and we want to know if our prayers are being heard. I’d like to tell you a couple of stories that I hope will offer you proof that our merciful God is listening to every word.

It had been a long day for Eileen at the 40 Days for Life vigil in Beaumont, Texas. As she was about ready to go home, she looked up over the roof of the abortion center and noticed a rainbow beginning to form. “There was no rain anywhere,” she said.

Eileen and the other volunteers had been praying for the conversion of the abortion facility staff. “As we stood there in awe looking and beholding a sign from God that He would protect us,” she said, “another rainbow formed on top of that one.”

The rainbows remained for about five minutes, “and the color seemed to get darker instead of lighter.”

40 Days for Life participants in Chandler, Arizona received a sign as well.

One of the local coordinators has a van with a “pray to end abortion” sign on the side. The owner watched from a distance as a woman drove up to the van, got out, scribbled a note, and stuck it on the windshield.

They wondered if the sign on the van had prompted a “nastygram,” but that was not the case at all. The message simply said, “Thank You! Never grow weary! May God be glorified in the excellence of your work.”

“That message was not just for us,” said Anita in Chandler. “That message is for everyone who is out there praying right now. It’s for every person who has taken the time to stand in the rain, the snow, the heat or on a very beautiful day, simply to peacefully pray for an end to abortion.”
