Of Storms and Saints
It's been a very tumultuous week in our area weather-wise, for the past few days.
Lots of thunderstorms and now so much rain....
Last night the clouds were amazing!
And the plants are growing well, almost as fast as the weeds!
Today we headed down to DC to visit the National Shrine to St John Paul II, and make a pilgrimage.
It was also the feast of St Brendan, so it was even more special for Brendan!
I wasn't allowed to take any pictures at the shrine, but we went up the road to the Basilica and I couldn't resist taking some there.
