Sunday night John had a sleepover with six of his friends, and a riotous time was had by all.
They swam at the pool, and we cooked out up there. They closed the pool, and we headed up to the cemetery to watch the Havre de Grace fireworks show. It was a little too far away to be truly impressive, but I think the guys had a good time anyway.
The next day, most of the boys were able to stay and they got together a rousing version of "Hunger Games".
In the afternoon we headed deep into North Harford County, which is kind of a country of it's own, and attended the cast party for the Susquehanna Player's "King Lear". The party was hosted by one of the families, and it was so generous of them! They have a beautiful house, with a pool, and the kids swam and just had a great time.

Last night we went to an Ironbirds game and I think it actually made history! The Aberdeen Ironbirds have a less than stellar record, but last night they treated us to a 21-7 win against the Staten Island Yankees! What fun! After the game, we stayed for an amazing fireworks show. It was really a great evening!
Today we enjoyed a quiet 4th, just going to the pool and having a yummy dinner with Nina and Lilly.
