Ah...so last night we actually had a really awesome rehearsal for the show!
It was so cool.
All the backdrops were up and the snow machine really works well in one place!!
I got all my entrances, lines and lyrics right, and I felt like I could actually breathe a sigh of relief.
The Graveyard scene where we sing "Dancing on Your Grave" finally came into line. That one has been a bear! I have a little bit in one of the songs, and there was so much trouble with the whole scene, that they were thinking about cutting it out altogether.
Thanks to dear Papa, JPII, I think I am actually going to be able to do a fair Mrs Mops. I have been praying to him like crazy! He was an actor, and he loved the stage. I know he would approve of this show. It's a wonderful version of the original story...
Hard to find clips to post though. I am hoping to have some pictures of all of us in costume after tomorrow's opening though.
It has just been so much fun doing the whole process. I felt like the audition was a huge hurdle. I couldn't believe that I did it! Now here we are the day before opening!
I have made some wonderful friends, and it has been so much fun being onstage with Paul. I wish the whole family was able to do it! Paula and her girls have been there and that has been a treat too.
Hope to post more tomorrow night!
