John and eleven other boys from our area were invested into a new Knights of Columbus Squires circle this past Sunday. They are naming the circle the Bishop Saltarelli Circle of the Columban Squires. Our late bishop would be very proud!
After the investiture ceremony, the families and the Knights from this council were invited to celebrate with them. We had dinner together
and there was a beautiful cake.
It was so nice seeing all the boys there together. They are all very nice kids and I am so happy that John is part of this very industrious group. They have already participated in a walk for hunger relief, they are collecting food at each meeting, they have been a part of the October "Respect Life" activities and they have helped out with several projects around the church.
