Jet Lag is a drag.
And we are still dragging, but we are starting to catch up.
School is going slowly, but we are gradually getting back to a full schedule.
Wednesday we were all so tired that all we did was math and reading.
Still, all in all, it went very well and no one had trouble with any of the concepts.
Brendan's First Lego League team will compete tomorrow at a qualifier down in Baltimore.
They have been working very hard, and since we were out of town for a lot of the practice, we are trying to get Brendan back into the loop. He has a couple of lines in the skit, and he is going to have to have lots of positive energy. We're having a bit of a time with the positive energy. We're having a hard time finding any energy at all. He had a practice yesterday and they are going to practice again today. Everything looked pretty good after a few tweaks. Can't wait to see how it goes tomorrow.
It sounds like Mom's procedure went well. I am going to call in awhile and see how she is feeling today. Fatigue is the main side effect of this treatment, so I am wondering how she is feeling.
Things are back in order, for the most part. I have one suitcase that, for some reason, is still in the car. There is snow on the ground so I am putting off bringing it in...
I am waiting for a big box of books that I shipped from PA. It should be here any day.
I have yet to do a big grocery shopping, and that is going to have to happen soon. We have most of the basics, but I can't put it off much longer!
It snowed last night. We have two or three beautiful inches on the ground outside. We are a bit too tired to do anything with it, but I'm sure that there will be more this month. The boys are looking forward to getting some snow play in this year.
Well, we are going to get back to Math and then we are off to FLL practice!
