OK, the bad news first.
The Dell Desktop died.
May it rest in pieces.
It was only a matter of time.
I had pulled all the pictures out of it and put all the documents online with Google. It could have been a lot worse. I had just backed up my Homeschool Tracker to the laptop, THE DAY BEFORE!
It was the first time I had done it this year! My guardian angel was being especially diligent, and I do appreciate it.
So now we are down to the laptop.
We have known that this day would be coming, and we have planned to get another computer.
I think we are going to stick with Dell and the one that I found has everything we need.
I just hope it lasts for awhile!
Tim took his van in for a diagnosis today and, well, it's not pretty, but it could be a lot worse!
We haven't had to make payments on it for a long time, so a few repairs are a pretty small price to pay.
Now the good news is probably only good news to me, but I was so excited! Google FINALLY created a program that syncs my Blackberry Calendar and my Google Calendars, which I use constantly!! I am kind of weird, I know, but this is really a great thing. Now I can put all my events in my Google calendar, and when I am out, all I have to do is look at my Blackberry and I have the whole calendar right there. I set up reminders and I put the holidays on it too. Google's public calendars have all that stuff. OK I am going to stop raving....
