A few Improvements

We have been trying to get a bit done around here over the last few days.
Tim managed to pull off a minor miracle and got the mower running over the weekend.
I am in awe. That mower has been at death's door for three years. I keep waiting for the final sputter and clunk and yet...with a LOT of starter fluid and probably some threats to dismember it, one more time, Tim has managed to squeeze one more mowing of the front yard out of it.
It aways looks so much better!
I got the Azaleas planted and we put the birdbath in a Temporary position next to the feeder...

John and I were having a great time with the Mamosa tree. We have Squirrel feeders all over it! If the birds are brave there is some seed there too, but I am thinking it's proably better for the squirrels to have their very own feeding station...

John also had a great place for the little umbrella feeder that Judy gave us. We put it under the Cherry tree along with a ground feeder. The Cardinals have already found it, and with corn and seeds right across the yard, the Squirrels haven't even bothered with it...

And I worked on one of the beds. I have to compost it yet but we have some flowers planted in little peat pots in the garage and we will pop them in the ground when they sprout. I want to be sure that we get them in the ground in the right order so that they fill the beds according to height and fullness. Some of the things that we picked out are really beautiful when they start to bloom.

We also mulched the front and side beds before all the plants really get going.
