Well, I do have a lot to post.
I have pictures of all the work we are doing around here, I have some thoughts from last night's meditation on Holy Week, I have a very interesting little bit of info that I came across while researching Celtic Art for my Sonlight class, and a few other details. It's going to have to wait though. We had a really busy day. I am just beat.
School went really well. Brendan has moved into another reading book. He will finish second grade reading in May! Art was great, after Brendan decided that he really did want to paint his dragon.
Scouts went OK. Would have been better if Paul had been otherwise occupied, but oh well. That little guy is just too smart. I ask a question and he always has the answer. The other boys, who are actually scouts, get pretty testy and I don't blame them.
We planted flower seeds and talked about Faith and how it needs to be fed and nourished to grow, just like a seed. We talked about Jesus and Holy Week and the boys really got involved in the conversation. Now they have flower seeds to plant later when it's warmer.
John is just having a ball feeding the birds and squirrels. The squirrels are greedy little beasts, but they are pretty cute. The Sparrows and Titmice have found the feeders and since all the squirrel food is now in the back yard, they are leaving the front feeders alone. That is an improvement. It was about 75 here today and it will be almost that warm tomorrow. We may have to walk down to Baskin Robbins for Paul's birthday.
Well, I hope to post pics tomorrow but now it is time to sleep.
